Brit female cop raped by knife-wielding attacker at base of Eiffel Tower in horror attack in Paris ForthMGN

A BRITISH policewoman has been raped at the bottom of the Eiffel Tower.

The victim told French cops she was ambushed by a man wielding a knife in the Champ de Mars late on Monday.

The woman said the suspect drew out a blade as she tried to push him away.

After the man fled the scene, she called Paris cops.

The victim told officers she was a British policewoman and had come to the French capital for two days with a friend.

She was taken into the care of firefighters at the scene.

Cops arrested a man around an hour after the woman reported the attack and gave a description of the suspect.

The 35-year-old was taken into custody overnight, reports Le Parisien.

An investigation by the third judicial police district is ongoing.
