The Dallas Cowboys are the most popular franchise in all of sports.
The expectations for every player are always higher when you play for the Cowboys.
The expectations can be borderline unfair when you play quarterback for the team at times.
You have to be perfect at all times or scrutiny will come down on you.
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been dealing with those expectations for the past eight years.
Jerry Jones has been a big reason for all the eyes on the Cowboys.
He has owned this team for a long time and has seen many different quarterbacks on his team.
According to Jon Machota, Jones said, “I don’t know that I’ve ever met anybody that has done a better job of accepting the expectation that (Dak Prescott) deals with.”
Jerry Jones: “I don’t know that I’ve ever met anybody that has done a better job of accepting the expectation that (Dak Prescott) deals with.
“I respect (him) as much as anybody I’ve ever seen. … Dak does it as good as anybody. He doesn’t run from it.” https://t.co/RvQEJLzHIK

Prescott continues to play quarterback at a high level for the Cowboys.
He has them in contention every year and has been a stabilizing force for the team.
But Prescott will always be judged on how he plays in the playoffs.
He has two playoff wins in his eight seasons in the league.
The Cowboys have yet to make the NFC Championship game with him.
He has a 65-38 career record as a starter in the regular season and the Cowboys’ roster flaws are more to blame for their playoff issues.
But that is not how things work in Dallas.
When you put that star on your helmet and play quarterback, you get all the blame when things go wrong.
