Coming into this NFL season, the San Francisco 49ers were widely considered to be one of the best all-around teams in the league, with reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year Nick Bosa leading the way on one side and quarterback Brock Purdy getting it done on the other.

Although many questioned whether Purdy could have a repeat performance comparable to his rookie season in the Bay Area, the second-year quarterback has been firing on all cylinders, which means the offense has been clicking and scoring, with the team scoring 30 points each week thus far.

In Week 4, after the 49ers made easy work of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Los Angeles Rams, and New York Giants, San Francisco will get wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk back in the fold ahead of their divisional matchup with the Arizona Cardinals.

According to head coach Kyle Shanahan, Aiyuk is “good to go” for Sunday’s game against the Cardinals via Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Aiyuk burst on the scene this season with a stellar performance in Week 1 against the Steelers in which he caught eight passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns.

In Week 2, Aiyuk was well on his way to another solid performance, catching three passes for 43 yards before going down with the shoulder injury that has kept him out until this week.

Needless to say, the 49ers are heavy favorites against the Cardinals, even though Arizona is coming off a week in which they dismantled the Dallas Cowboys.

San Francisco could make a clear statement with a dominant performance over Arizona before heading into a highly anticipated matchup with Dallas in Week 5.
