At this point in the 2023 NFL season, the Baltimore Ravens have proven to be the real deal, as Lamar Jackson and company are arguably one of the best teams in the AFC heading into Week 9, where they’ll face the Seattle Seahawks at home at M&T Bank Stadium.
Even though the Ravens hit some unexpected bumps in the road this season with losses to the Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore has been resilient, leading to a 6-2 record and first place in the highly competitive AFC North division.
Ahead of the clash with the Seahawks, who are looking like a legitimate playoff team in the NFC, Jackson fielded some questions and gave a hilarious response to one question in particular.
One of the reporters in attendance for media availability posed a question about Jackson being 17-1 against NFC opponents, which prompted the one-time NFL MVP to immediately get irritated because he didn’t want that stat in his mind going into this matchup with the Seahawks, via Arye Pulli of The Sports Place.
A reporter brought up a statistic about #Ravens QB Lamar Jackson playing NFC Teams.
“Bro,” Lamar said with a laugh, “We’re playing football. It’s not about NFC or AFC — I’m trying to win regardless.”
Lamar’s reaction is hilarious. It’s safe to say he doesn’t like stats😂 pic.twitter.com/F4gaYJwFuC

With the Ravens rolling the way the team has with three straight wins coming into Week 9 against a playoff-caliber opponent, it’s not all that surprising that Jackson would want no part in knowing the win and loss stats against NFC teams.
Baltimore has a tough stretch of games coming up after having a fairly easy schedule to start the season, as they will face the Seahawks, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, and Los Angeles Chargers in consecutive weeks.
As for Jackson, he continues to play at a high level, throwing for 1,767 yards, nine touchdowns, and three interceptions while rushing for 380 yards and five touchdowns.
