Massive explosion rocks Crimea as ‘Ukrainian drones’ blow up ammo dump in latest blow to Vlad

HUGE explosions have rocked Russian-occupied Crimea after suspected Ukrainian drones targeted an ammunition depot.

It is the third daring attack believed to have been masterminded by Ukraine on the annexed region this week in a humiliating blow to Vladimir Putin.

Sergei Aksyonov, the Moscow-installed leader of the region, reported the drone attack had succeeded in hitting an ammunition depot and there were no known casualties.

On telegram, he wrote: “As a result of an enemy drone on the Krasnogvardeisky district, there was a detonation at an ammunition depot.

“A decision was taken to evacuate people [living] within five kilometres” of the zone,” he said, adding that: “To minimise risks, it was also decided to halt rail traffic on Crimean railways.”

Footage shows multiple explosions near the city of Simferopol followed by a giant swarm of black smoke.

Local sources on social media suggested that drones struck an oil depot and airfield in the region, as well as the ammunition dump.

The Crimean bridge was also allegedly suspended due to the attack but traffic has been reportedly restored.

Earlier this week, another major Russian ammunition depot in Crimea exploded sparking a massive mushroom smoke cloud into the air.

Dramatic footage from Wednesday shows a huge fireball at the Starokrymsky military training ground.

Incessant explosions could be heard from at least 13 miles away that continued for more than five hours.

On Monday, at least two were killed after Putin’s beloved £3billion Crimea Bridge was rocked by massive explosions.

Two blasts rang out on the 12-mile crossing in the early hours as hordes of motorists travelled across it.

Traffic was brought to a standstill after what was believed to be a kamikaze sea drone attack on the famed bridge.
