Saquon Barkley has made headlines throughout the NFL offseason, largely due to his contract struggles with the New York Giants.
Barkley was given the franchise tag designation from the Giants but still is yet to sign that agreement.
While his status with the Giants is still unresolved, it appears that Barkley is still training hard for the upcoming season.
In a video shared by both Barkley and Bleacher Report, he is seen amid an intense workout with San Francisco 49ers wide receiver, Deebo Samuel.

Regardless of how the Giants move forward with Barkley’s contract, he looks like he’ll be more than ready for the upcoming season.
The past few years haven’t been the kindest to Barkley, as he’s dealt with more than a fair of injuries.
However, that hasn’t stopped him from producing in a big way, as evidenced by his 2022 campaign.
Barkley is coming off the best season of his career, where he totaled 1,312 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.
He also had 57 receptions, which added 338 yards to his total production.
Despite Barkley’s on-field brilliance last season, the Giants haven’t signed him to a contract past the 2023 season.
This is a growing trend between NFL teams and running backs, as long-term contracts for the position have been sparse over the past several months.
How will the team move forward?
Barkley was a massive part of their game plan last season and is in line to receive a similar workload in 2023.
The ball is now in the Giants’ court, leaving them to navigate this situation moving forward.
